LIBRARY & COMMUNITY CALENDAR OF EVENTS

While we make an attempt to cover community events along with library events, this is NOT a comprehensive community calendar.  We can only post those events submitted to us in time for our posting.   (SCROLL DOWN FOR MHS & MJHS FOOTBALL SCHEDULE!)

 Saturday Matinee at the Library!

One Saturday a Month, at 2:00 p.m. the library will be hosting “Saturday Matinee at the Library!”.  We’ll be featuring a Major Motion Picture suitable for all ages on our Big Screen in the Library’s meeting room.  Admission for the movie is your choice of one roll of Paper Towels or one roll of Toilet Paper.   There will also be a TEEN DOUBLE FEATURE MOVIE NIGHT on the same evening at 7:30 p.m., so come by the library and put in your votes for movies you’d like to see.  We hope to be able to do at least one Saturday Matinee and One TEEN DOUBLE FEATURE per month if we have enough audience participation.

Refreshments will not be provided, but feel free to bring your own pop and candy.  We have a microwave, so may also bring a bag of microwave popcorn and we’ll pop it for you.  Dates of future features and costs of admission will be posted in the library window and in the Maysville News.
